MY PHILOSOPHY

My Story

I embarked on a personal journey towards healing, focusing not only on making changes to my diet and lifestyle, but also on regulating my nervous system. It was important for me to listen to my body’s signals and cues, truly understanding its needs. I realised that healing is a non-linear process. Just as it took years for our bodies to reach their current state, it could take months or even years to rewrite and retrain them. Through patience and attentiveness, I gradually moved towards a healthier and more balanced life.

In addition to this, I struggled with health issues for a long time and sought help from different doctors around the world, exploring both Eastern and Western medicine options. Eventually, I decided to explore functional medicine, which led to a diagnosis of Mold toxicity. This diagnosis shed light on the root cause of my terrible insomnia, gut dysbiosis, mood swings, and weight loss resistance.

For far too long, I was at odds with food. I waged an enduring battle with negative body image, leading to bouts of bingeing and comfort eating that felt beyond my control.

I hopped from one diet to the next, married them with punishing exercise routines I loathed, and forced my life to accommodate gym sessions at the expense of sleep and sanity—only to fall off the wagon. The aftermath left me brimming with guilt and shame, yet, somehow, I’d rally to impose yet another stringent regimen on myself, hoping to undo the so-called “damage” I had inflicted.

The cycle was relentless until I found myself at an absolute low, drained of hope. That’s when I realised my journey required deep inner work. After pouring my heart, time, and resources into my recovery, I began to see glimmers of light—not through a sudden, life-altering revelation (those hardly ever happen), but through incremental steps that gradually steered me in the right direction.

Today, I stand in a place of self-acceptance and food freedom, relishing a state of health and happiness I once thought unreachable. The truly gratifying part? I’ve been able to guide others to the same destination.
